Can U See Me.

Began with Sunny, not with a mood board, not with a brief but with a person. A whole world appeared in her. The way she holds stillness. The way light finds her. The way she exists in a room before anyone has named it.

Everything followed from that. The wardrobe was built from scratch in collaboration with designer Lionel Nichols; each piece conceived specifically around what was seen in her, not the other way around. That's the process. The person comes first. The world forms around them.

Can U See Me is the clearest expression of Narjisse’s practice: the ability to see a person before the camera does, and build the world they belong in. A world shaped by travel, by human connection, by the accumulated weight of places and encounters that don't leave you.

The question is always the same at the start. Can you see me? The image has to answer it.
